Are you ready?
The journey will not be easy. But seldom is anything worth keeping. On the other side, however, awaits a foundation of forgiveness, an authentic relationship with the Trinity, and a freedom to both love and receive love from others.
But be assured, you are not alone in this. Hope is available. Freedom and forgiveness are attainable through Jesus Christ. Reconciliation is possible.
Then let’s go!
“No matter how hard I try, or how much I desire to be set free and sail, my boat is bound to the dock based on the decisions of others. I have no say in the matter. The more I struggle, the more discouraging it gets. The more I dream, the more I get hurt. My fate is sealed...I’m tied to the dock.”
Who is this book for?
The offender…
This is a book for those who feel as alone as I did as I walked out my own sobriety as a sex offender. A life I felt like no one else understood – or wanted to understand.
This is a book of forgiveness and freedom – for members on both sides of the sexual abuse equation. A freedom not only from our past, but in our present, and our future as well.
When your past seems too great to overcome…
The story…
Destruction was everywhere. In only 24 years, I had managed to completely destroy the kingdom I had been building — the story I had been writing. Broken and hopeless in my own power, I surrendered my pen to another Author.
Jesus had been waiting. Looking back, I recalled countless moments where my heart and mind had been pursued by His love. But I was to caught up in my own self-protection to notice.
The next few years consisted of me learning who I was, who the Trinity was, and who I was in them. An overhaul of my heart and mind was underway.
From a hardworking educated young man, through convicted felon and beyond, this book dives deeply into the emotional, mental and spiritual clashes that result in the battle for one’s identity – condemned or forgiven.
This narrative depicts real life stories of hardship, pain and sorrow, which can rub up against God’s never ending love, grace and mercy – if we allow them to.
“That I may know Him and the power of His resurrection, and the fellowship of His sufferings, being conformed to His death, if, by any means, I may attain the resurrection of the dead.”
The result? Something we’re all searching for… HOPE
